As part of federal COVID-19 relief efforts, the IRS is extending the income tax filing deadline for the 2020 tax year from April 15 to May 17, 2021. For small business owners, this extension allows more time to complete and submit tax returns. Also, the recently signed American Rescue Plan Act includes some provisions that may affect your 2020 tax returns.
